"I barely know the girl, save for that she is the daughter of Pirate Lord Sao Feng, harboring just as much spirit as the aforementioned pirate. From what I've seen of her, she's proven to be a rebellious girl, wanting to stand her own ground and prove to others that being female does not make her weak. That in its entirety earns my respect, for that is the very thing that I've been aiming to prove to countless individuals on my journey. Just because I'm a woman does not mean that I can't fend for myself - nor do I require a knight in shining armor to protect me and sweep me off my feet. I can live my own life, thank you. That is the aura that is reflected in Oceane, and for that, I admire this spitfire of a girl. Hopefully, we will become more acquainted in the future."

"When we first met, I knew there and then that I would end up loving Will. Yes - even as a silly little girl singing about pirates, I knew. I knew that I would love him. What I didn't know is that we'd be falling in and out of love so quickly and so repeatedly. I never know what he's thinking, and it seems that, at times, I simply can't trust him. Perhaps I wasn't in love with him, but with the life that he was capable of leading, for as a young woman confined to fancy dresses and boring social gatherings of the upstanding, the grand adventure of piracy seemed rather intriguing. It pains me to ponder such a thing, for my heart tells me that I love Will. Yet who knows at this point - the seas hold our story, and I no longer know what will be written on the pages."

"Jack. A pirate like no other - a pirate that has led me on the grandest of adventures, ruining my life, yet quite possibly saving it at the same time. If it hadn't been for him, Lord only knows what would have happened at the Isla de Muerta. After all, I had given Barbossa Will's last name as mine; it was thanks to Jack and Will that my blood didn't stain the cursed gold, especially since it was not my blood that they needed. Yet as much as he's changed my life for the good, there have been many a time that I hate the wretched man. He could very well have caused the downfall of all of us, caring only for himself! That's why I chained him to his beloved Pearl - to give us time to escape. We didn't deserve to be caught up in the fray of his battle with Davy Jones. Jack had neglected to keep up his end of the bargain, and by default, we were all once again punished for his actions. I wish there had been another way, I really wish there was...but I can't change the past. Yet now we venture to Davy Jones' Locker, for the world simply wouldn't be the same without Captain Jack Sparrow."

"My time in Singapore seems like a whirlwind - everything happened so fast, so abruptly that I hardly remember what happened, save for the fact that we were able to secure a ship and a crew to aid in Jack's rescue. With the clanging of swords and whatnot, shielded by the commotion of fireworks and battle, our names were barely audible as we shared them in passing. I really don't know who she is or what purpose she serves, but she helped us in our time of need, and for that, I am grateful. Perhaps we shall meet again. Actually, I hope that we do, for she could prove to be not only a valuable asset, but loyal friend."

"I always seem to have a clouded view of people, and my perspective of Tia Dalma undoubtedly retains that sentiment. The voodoo priestess is always so changing and fickle that I can never tell if I am to consider her my friend or enemy. For now, we remain allies, for we are joined in the cause of rescuing Jack from Davy Jones' Locker. There is more to her than meets the eye - that's for sure, and I can't help but feel that she finds me annoying for some reason or other. Perhaps she feels that my heart is not completely loyal to Will. Why that should concern her, I have no idea, but she seems rather attached to him, almost protective in nature. She seems to truly know something about him that only she is privy to, and maybe that's why she harbors some dislike for me. At least that's what I sense from her - I doubt I shall ever really know."

"Regret has become hauntingly prevalent in my life, and perhaps the largest one in that category is James Norrington. James has shown me nothing but kindness in all the years that I've known him; what first was admiration and respect soon grew into a wonderful friendship. However, I didn't realize that he thought that the friendship extended beyond that - he proposed. I must admit I wasn't entirely prepared for it, and from that point, our relationship went spiraling in many different directions. Perhaps one reason that I denied us having a future together was because he always seemed too wrapped up in duty to even be capable of loving me. So, my regret is not that I forewent a romantic relationship with him, but that I didn't give him a chance, exposing him to the world's cruelty and derision."

"What would I have done all these years without my dear father? He raised me from birth after my mother died, making sure that I grew up on a system of honor, decency, and a moral center. Well, that and being pampered, for I was always Daddy's little princess. Point being, my father loves me and always made sure that I was afforded the best, as he still does. Whenever Beckett presented the warrant for my arrest, the look on his face was that of ultimate shock, an image that I'll never erase from my mind. I knew that he cared for me, yet disappointment also seemed prominent in his expression - disappointment in me for associating with pirates. The last thing that I ever wanted to do was upset him; I hope that soon I'll be able to return to Port Royale to remedy any misgivings that he may still harbor."
